The ascent to the famous Monte Terminillo

This is a trip around the Reatini Mountains, near Rieti (Latium).
It's a 83 km. hilly trip, with the steep ascent to the famous Monte
Terminillo (1901 m.) where Bartali and Herrera won a stage at
the Giro d'Italia, in 1937 and 1992 respectively.
This trip begins and ends at Rieti (405 m.). After the first 10 km. begins
the continuos ascent (20 km.) to V.co La Forca (1115 m.) with 6.5% of
medium slope. After 8 km. (slightly ondulated) there begins the steep
ascent to Monte Terminillo : 9 km., med.slope 9% , max 11%.
Then, to refresh your legs you find a 20 km. downhill followed by another
3 km. ascent 'til Castelfranco: med. slope 7%.
The final 9 km. downhill brings you back home, Rieti.
